Welcome to my first ever Christmas Ornament list! I've been seeing lots of beautiful decorations around Bloggyville, so I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures of my own tree. I've been collecting ornaments for more then 20 years. I'm fond of woodsy, primitive or unusual things, time pieces, animals and birds. This year, Mitch and I decorated our tree in burgandy and gold. These are a few of the ornaments that fit this year's color theme.
13 Ornaments On My Christmas Tree
This hand-carved snow goose is new to my collection this year.
I've had this gold-gilded mouse with pipe for nearly 15 years.
This brass ornament is part of a set given to me several years ago by my dear friend, Nikki. Each ornament is laser-etched with an image; this one has cherubs.
A woodsy little sleigh I found a few years back, tucked in the corner of an outdoor shop.
This monkey marionette has seen better days. Our Yorkie, Buddy, chewed it to bits 5 Christmasses ago when he was a tiny puppy. I glued it back together, but...
I found this primitive felt reindeer several years ago. I love its simplicity.
One of the many songbirds I have. This one was the right color to go on the tree this year. It's frosted with glitter.
My other favorite mouse. This one is also gold-gilded and is perched on a little gold clock.
This tiny dog is a replica of a vintage child's toy. I love his happy little face.
This little hand-carved bird is the oldest in my collection. I've had it more than 20 years. It has been on all of my Christmas trees.
A gilded pocket watch ornament I found 10 years back. It looks very nice on the tree.
I found this beautiful little cuckoo clock ornament 12 years ago. The detail is phenominal, but you can't really see it here. You can, however, see the big ugly wire on my lights! I fixed that, by the way, but not in time for the picture.
Last, but not least, is a Jim Shore pig, new to my collection this year. I am a Jim Shore fan but this pig is not on my tree - wrong color. Instead, it is displayed with Jim Shore's 12 Days Of Christmas ornament set Mitch got me last year. I thought it was very sweet and wanted you to see it. Thanks for taking my ornament tour! I hope you had fun. Do you have a favorite?

Again, I am so envious. It seems no one here thought of selling ornaments like that.

I like the monkey best... and then the mouse and then the pig... :)
I love the ornaments you have. I've got young kids so my ornaments are lingering remainders of previous sets and cheap ones that are pretty much disposable. !

Love the little cuckoo clock best! I posted about favorite ornaments a few days ago -- it has been fun seeing other people's treasures. :)

I love pigs!
It's cool that you have enough ornaments to match a colour scheme. I think we have about 21 in total. We get a new one for every year we've been married (11) and have had about 10 others given to us over the years.

I especially like the monkey! Have you posted a pic of your tree and I've missed it? I'll check - I bet it looks great!

Very pretty! I love all of those ornaments, looks like we have similar tastes. Thanks for sharing the photos. Merry Christmas, and thanks for your prayers and thoughts. I really appreciate it. I am too lazy to do a 13, maybe next week.

I love these. They're so different and my favorite is the monkey marionette. I'd never have known it had been chewed. It's adorable.

I love your ornaments. You have so many animal figures on your tree. I did the same kind of TT post as well, but mine are more people figures.

I like the pocket watch ornament the best. It reminds me of my grandfather who used to wear his on Sundays. Great list.
Merry Christmas!

Beautiful ornaments!! You have just given me an idea for next week's TT, if you don't mind! I've had a hard time thinking up good ones recently.
